Picture this, "It's January 28th, 2015. Julie and I plan to meet at the airport and head to our plane together. My dad picks me up from work and drops me off at the curbside check-in because I am a little bit earlier than Julie. I decide to sit outside and bask in the sunshine, because in a few short hours I'd be in the frozen north! Wait?!?!?! I'm going into the snow? I am praying many mornings for snow so that I can stay in bed, and I, Molly G, am about to fly into the snow. I must really love the kids at church to be boarding the plane... them or GOD! You decide!"
So, yes. I did go to Detroit. And yes, I do love you guys! But, I also love God and being surrounded by others who love him too! So this is a blog that I am dedicating to Him. It's really a platform for you to share your stories and quandaries with each other. I know some of you are thinking this, so "Yes!" It was an idea that came from this awesome weekend that Julie and I spent in the frozen, snow falling north. It was suggested to us, by a couple of tech~savey adults that having a blog where you guys can tell each other stories about your experiences, and were God is in them, would be helpful to you and your peers that might not otherwise see God around them. So until I figure out a better system, this is our blog.
I would love for you to start is off by describing your favorite part of the ELCA Youth Gathering 2012.
